The Organizing Committee invites all interested participants from academia, research laboratories, and industry around the world in the field of railway engineering and railway transportation to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations. We welcome you to contribute to the most up-to-date research and lathe test developments from around the world.
Questions about the abstract or technical topics, or about the program format or policies of the conference, should be directed to the conference secretariat at icart@icart2025.kr
- Abstracts should be submitted online and be written in English.
- Authors must fill out all abstract details and authors’ information following the online abstract submission procedures. Each abstract must include the paper title, author’s names, affiliations, and e-mail addresses.
- Authors may edit and modify submitted abstracts until the submission deadline. It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure the accuracy of the abstract. There will be no additional editing after the deadline.
- Authors may choose their presentation preference (Oral/Poster/Either). However, the Program Committee will make the final decision after review. Also, the presentation preference for ‘keynote, and invited’ are limited to the abstract submitted by the designated speakers who are selected by the committee.
- Acknowledgment of your submission will be sent to the e-mail address provided by the contributor. Please make sure that you receive an e-mail confirmation after making your submission. If you do not receive this e-mail confirmation, it means we have not received your abstract. If you have completed the submission procedure correctly, please make sure you have provided the correct e-mail address.
The authors of papers presented at the conference will be invited to submit their extended versions of papers for possible publication in the Journal of the Korean Society for Railway and International Journal of Railway, after a peer-review evaluation process.
All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Technical Program Committee according to reviewing procedures. Notification of acceptance will be sent by e-mail to the corresponding, presenting, authors by July 07, 2025.
If the presenting author of an accepted abstract does not register by August 25, 2025, the abstract can be withdrawn from the final program. If you must withdraw an abstract, please notify the ICART 2025 secretariat in writing as soon as possible.
